Friends

This past week, all of my friends got together and celebrated our friend Kim. She is moving to Colorado and we all threw her a surprise going away party. We had a fun evening eating dessert and telling Kim how special she is to all of us. I love my friends and thank God for them. Having time together to share our hearts with Kim reminded me of how truly blessed I am to share my life with such great Godly girls. They all are different and special to me. I always look forward to seeing them and spending time together. We will all miss Kim, but we know that this is not the end of our friendship. She is always a phone call away and has told us that her house is always welcome. What a blessing!

Sippy Cup Fun

It is a passion of my husbands to take several shots in a row of are little munchkins and these are pretty cute. Zachary was experimenting with a cup for the first time today by himself. He turned it every witch way and even got a drink here or there. This was a sight to be seen!

A boy and his ball

I never knew how much boys loved balls until I gave one to Zachary. He went to town rolling, bouncing, kicking and throwing them all around the floor. It was fun to watch and observe this little boy get so excited over something so simple. I laughed so hard watching him play. I guess this is just the beginning of the sports thing.

Brother and Sister

Zachary lets Carlee push him in his car around the house only with adult supervision. This is a glimpse into what it's like with two.
These two are quit the pair. Loving each other more and more. Carlee just loves getting in Zachary's bed when he wakes up from his nap to snuggle under the blankets. As soon as she hears him she says, "I'm going to go check on him." She's a sweet little mama! However, she still loves to be the baby.

Christmas #4

Zachary and Carlee got brand new carseats for Christmas from my mom and dad. They were in desperate need of them. They had outgrown their old ones. Zachary absolutely loves his and talked and bounced the whole way home. Carlee fell asleep in hers for the first time in a long time.
Carlee sporting her new scarf, hat, gloves and Crocs. Pink, pink and pink. I love it!
Carlee loved swimming in the styrofoam peanuts. Uncle John plopped her right in them and she had a ball throwing them in the air and shouting, "Yippee!" It was a sight to be seen.
Zachary loved all his toys and slobbered on all of them.
Thanks mom and dad for an enjoyable evening. We loved being together and celebrating Christmas with you and the family. Carlee still talks about turning on the Christmas lights with the remote control. The food was delicious and the gifts were all so thoughtful.

7 months

I know I say this every time, but it is hard to believe that Zachary is 7 months. The time has flown! We spent most of December inside trying to get well and recover from the RSV. Fortunately, the cough has gone away and Zachary is doing much better. Now if we could just get him back to sleeping through the night. Zachary is eating cereal really well and loving the booster seat chair. He is a total mess when eating- fingers in the mouth with lots of moving. We haven't really tried many foods yet because of the busyness, but we will start soon. He has his two bottom teeth now and more on the way. He is enjoying being on the floor. He will sit contently for an hour if I let him and play with anything in reach. He does a great job bending at his waist while reaching for a toy and remaining stable. I love this age. Zac does not like diaper changes. He will toss and turn making it very hard to get a diaper on. He just does not like being still. The only way he likes to be held is facing out so he can see everything. He loves bathtime and enjoys splashing and kicking in the water. He is still very loud. The nursery workers have told me that they really enjoy his singing (I think that is the nice way of saying he is very vocal). He has shown no signs of crawling yet, but we'll see what this month holds.

My Two Sweethearts

We got two good pictures of these two together. They are really starting to enjoy each other more and more as they get older. What a blessing these two are to our family!
Happy New Year to all our family and friends! We love you and hope this year brings lots of fun memories. God Bless!
