They really do love each other...

Sometimes I wonder, but not tonight

They both had a hug-of-war after supper and tickled and kissed each other until they were red in the face. It was the sweetest most precious moment they have ever had together!!
Carlee and Zachary I pray you will grow up to be best friends and love each other ever so closely. May ya'll be sensitive to each others needs and always know when to hug. May the love of Christ fill you completely and bless you with a rich friendship.

A Beautiful Day

Today is gorgeous and it's Saturday....
Sweetness
Enjoying a break and some snacks
Enjoying myself a little bit too much (this was after I found out Greg was snapping shots of me for the entire song)
In Daddy's arms and loving it I love her tongue in this picture (fully concentrating)

Not wet yet
Getting a drink of some H2O

After packing our bags, we took a bike ride down to the fountains on the Waterway (about a 20 minute trek). We let the kids romp around in the water. Zachary said, "Wa-ter" over and over again. He walked around a lot and took everything in. He loved every minute. Carlee used our watering can to catch the water as it sprayed up and down and across. She had lots of fun! We enjoyed the music and the water show every 15 minutes. Well lets just say, I really enjoyed and it and the picture is evidence (little did I know Greg took about 20 of me dancing). We ate a few snacks while sitting in the nice warm sun and relaxed. Then we headed over to Market Street to get a smoothie and to play a little more at Market Square. It was a lot of fun! I love days like this!! We feel so blessed to live in an area like this. I love being so cloes to all these beautiful areas. It feels like vacation sometimes. It's a nice break!

The things he says...

Zachary is copying every word he hears. He's putting two or more words together and forming his own phrases. One of his favorite things to say is, "Dog-gie poo-poo." I hope your laughing and not finding this totally disgusting. It's something he says just to make you laugh. Today, while shopping at the grocery store he said it as loud as he could several times in a row... "Dog-gie poo-poo, Dog-gie poo-poo, Dog-gie poo-poo." It's a little embarrassing, but I figure if it makes someone laugh and smile then it's all good. Zachary also says, "breakable," when he sees something that is a "no-no" (meaning he knows he's not supposed to touch it). He is very good at using his manners by saying "please" and "thank you." People say that he is so polite. Zachary will say hi and bye to almost anyone in his line of sight. His new thing is asking everyone, "how are you?" (he says it in the cutest little voice too) Today while shopping for groceries, Carlee was singing the "B-I-B-L-E," and Zachary yells "BIBLE" at the end of the song. I'm sure people know where we stand in our faith. I love having kids that shine Jesus where ever we go by the songs they sing, the good manners they display, and the words they use. What a blessing!
Don't get me wrong they do have they're moments....who's perfect, but we use those moments to teach them how much they need Jesus in their life to help them make right choices. Both of them are getting an everyday listen in self-control, they both love getting in each others space, they know exactly what buttons to push in order to make the other one scream, they are getting better at sharing toys and taking turns, but everyday is different. Carlee has been waking up saying, "I'm going to be a good girl today and obey." Today she said, "her heart has love in it because Jesus lives in her heart." Praise the Lord!! Now, we have not sat down and said the sinners prayer with her, but I do teach Carlee that Jesus can live inside our hearts and shine. I know she is trying to process it all. What a big responsibility it is to raise children to obey and even more of a responsibility to raise them to love the Lord and live out their love for Him in a righteous and Godly way. I don't take this burden lightly and count it all joy to develop their hearts to love the Lord. May God give Greg and I wisdom and revelation everyday on how to live Jesus in front of them giving God all the glory.

Carlee's Butterfly Party

Carlee had her butterfly birthday party last night with all our family. It was so much fun watching her open all her presents, read all her cards, and give hugs to all those who blessed her. She loved her new Fancy Nancy dress-up dress. She says her favorite part was licking the icing off her cupcake. I had a special cupcake decorated for her with a flower and butterfly on the top. The funniest thing she said was when she received Aunt Rachel and Uncle John's homemade birthday card and said, "This is actually pretty cute." We all laughed! She is definitely acting four. I know this year will be a whole lot of fun.
