Daddy Daughter Dance

Carlee and daddy went to a daddy daughter dance at our church this past Saturday night. Carlee fell asleep in the car on the way there. We had been out all day running errands. She is our Sleeping Beauty.
Here they are all dressed up before going into the ballroom (our church worship center). They are looking really good. Carlee picked out daddy's tie and I helped curl Carlee's hair. She picked out her beautiful flower bow for her hair.
Here she is with her new best friend, Ryanne. This is our pastors grand daughter. They take ballet at the same dance studio and Ryanne absolutely adores Carlee, as you can tell from the picture.
Silly face
Carlee is dancing on stage and loving every minute of it. I have some video of Carlee dancing, but have not been able to download it to this post. If you want to see it. You can go to my facebook page and find it on my wall. I heard that she danced the night away!
While Greg and Carlee were dancing, Zachary and I went out for some Berry Pop (frozen healthy yogurt). Even though the weather was cold, the yogurt shop was nice a warm. Zachary had raspberry/pomegranate yogurt with sour gummy worms (it makes my lips pucker just thing about it). He ate all the gummies first and then asked to try a bite of mine (plain jane yogurt with blueberries). He decided he liked my yogurt better, so we switched. I was happy to switch, I need something tart and delicious. Zachary talked the whole time we were eating. He told me how much he loved me and we laughed a lot. Then we went over to the mall to ride the carousel before heading home. It was a special evening for all of us. We love our kids and love these memories built.
