Zachary's 3rd Birthday Party

Zachary had a "Lightening McQueen" Birthday party on Sunday evening. He was super excited and loved every bit of it. Here he is with all his presents. I love that smile!
Here he is with all his gifts. He received lots of great gifts. (cloths, toys, a UT chair for camping, sleeping bag, a Nimo beach towel and flip flops, the "Toy Story" remote control car, etc.)
Here he is with his birthday brownie that I decorated for him. He said he wanted brownie and ice cream for his birthday treat. He made it very easy for me.
Taking a little taste before we had to cut the brownie. He wasn't a big fan of the icing, but Carlee loved it!
Me and my sweet boy
The guest: Cousin Josiah (he was scooting around the house most of the night)
Big sister: Carlee (being silly)
Daddy eating some brownie and ice cream
Great Memaw Herdejurgen feeding Josiah
Grandpa
Pawpaw
Grammy
Aunt Rachel and Uncle John (he is smiling like Zachary just to be silly)
Our adopted family- Mr. Steve, Caleb and Jenny (they just moved here from Mass. and we are so thrilled to have them here)
Zachary had such a fun birthday! He was so thankful to have everyone blessing him with gifts, their presence and their love. I loved being able to help him open his gifts and see the excitement in his eyes. This was one of those birthdays he understood what was going on and enjoyed the attention. He is one of those kids who can handle the lime light and thrive in it. His smile will light up the whole room and his appreciative words will melt any heart. I love this boy and love that he loves his mama. People always told me that boys love their mama's and Zachary has proved the point. He is super special to me- all his hugs, smiles, kisses, zurberts, and every glance from his eyes is precious. He stole my attention the minute he came into this world and turned my world upside down. My life would not be the same without my Zachary. He has brought me to my knees in prayer and has caused me to rejoice on the top of mountains. Zachary is a blessing to this family. We love him so very much!
Zachary may you continue to grow and wisdom and understanding. May you know the love of your heavenly father and understand your need for Him. I pray you would become more obedient in the coming years and more respectful to your mommy and daddy. May God reveal Himself to you and enlighten your heart at an early age so that you might become fascinated by His ways and drawn to worship Him. May you become a mighty warrior of our King and strive to honor Him and bring Him glory all the days of your life.
